On Sunday, July 14, 2019, the Festival Napa Valley raised a record-setting $2.6 million at the Arts for All Gala. The proceeds from this event provide free and affordable access to Festival concerts, scholarships for emerging musicians, and arts education programs for thousands of Napa Valley public school children.

Theorem Vineyards was a supporting sponsor for Festival Napa Valley this month as our team hosted the Vintner’s Luncheon on July 17. We are proud to be part of the contributions Festival Napa Valley makes to the community. This year, Festival Napa Valley successfully raised millions that will support and empower children in public schools across Napa Valley.

About Festival Napa Valley

Every year, Festival Napa Valley unites the beauty of Napa Valley with the finest performing arts, all to empower thousands of children in Napa Valley. Thanks to Festival Napa Valley, programs are offered to enrich the economy and culture of the region while making art accessible to various members of the community. The Festival provides programs like free concerts, a music academy, music camps, art programs, and music concerts for kids, among many other things. Festival Napa Valley raises funds by providing contributors with performances by some of the world’s most renowned artists at some of the most beautiful sceneries in Napa Valley.

Arts for All Gala

The Arts for All Gala is part of the annual Ten Days of Summer, and it is one of the most meaningful nights of the Festival—possibly even one of the biggest fundraisers for arts education on the west coast. The top bid to attend the intimate private concert at The Napa Valley Reserve by 19-time Grammy Award-winner Tony Bennett was $450,000. Guest get to bid on a collection of fifteen experiences, including an all-inclusive stay at Toucan Hill Villa in Mustique owned by Bouchaine Vineyards’ proprietors Gerret and Tatiana Copeland, a VIP experience at Wimbledon 2020, exclusive dinners hosted by Trinchero Family Estates, Far Niente and Marimar Estate, and many more.

One of the most memorable moments of the evening was when 40 commemorative 3-liter bottles from Napa Valley’s finest vintners were actioned off—raising $125,000 to underwrite Arts for All summer camps for students from the Boys & Girls Clubs and Napa County Office of Education. The evening concluded with an astonishing performance by four-time Grammy Award-winner SEAL. He performed songs from his album Standards and his iconic hit Kiss by a Rose for 400 guests at HALL Napa Valley.
