Theorem Vineyards is nestled on the northern slope of Diamond Mountain in Calistoga, approximately 1,100 feet above sea level. This breathtaking estate allows our wines to benefit from volcanic soil, minimal fog, ample sunlight, and cooling afternoon winds.

At Theorem Vineyards, we create wines that tell the story of the site and the soils from which they originate. Along with our winemaker, Thomas Rivers Brown, our philosophy begins with using the highest quality fruit—only the best of our yield makes it into the barrel. The end result is an elegant wine that is a pure expression of the site, soil, and vintage.

The challenges, at first, seemed almost impossible—but we learned initial impressions can be deceiving. What first appeared to be a forgotten piece of property was soon revealed to be a place of enchantment, impressive in its beauty and breathtaking in its preserved grace. Upon walking the grounds, and uncovering the elements that spoke of and reflected a different time, we fell in love—and the longer we stayed, the more we found to fall in love with. So began our story and our journey to discover, restore, and revive the spirit of this 1880s farm.
