Many of us enjoy sweet dishes like pancakes or French toast during brunch. When pairing wine with sweet foods, you want a wine that is light and delicate. We recommend 2017 Stony Hill White Riesling. This wine is made off-dry and is nicely balanced with crisp acidity. This wine has appealing floral and fruity aromas and flavors that pair wonderfully with sweet brunch dishes.
Wine Pairings with Vegetable Dishes
If you like eating dishes like a vegetable frittata, veggie grain bowls, or avocado toast, for brunch, then a sparkling wine is the best pairing option. We recommend paring your vegetable dishes with 2001 Reserve Late Disgorged, Schramsberg. This sparkling wine features complex flavors of apple tart, grapefruit, candied ginger, and roasted almond that results in a fresh and textured finish.
Wine Pairings with Egg Dishes
If you like eggs benedict or smoked salmon eggs benedict during your brunch gatherings, then you’ll want to pair it with a wine that mirrors the creaminess and has enough weight to stand up to its richness. We recommend 2017 Rivers-Marie Sonoma Coast Chardonnay. This wine has characteristics of wet stones, lime blossom, green apple and a touch of honeysuckle on the finish. This wine is pure and precise which makes a perfect pair for egg dishes.

Delicious salmon brunch dishes pair wonderfully with a light-bodied Sauvignon Blanc. Sauvignon Blanc is bright, crisp, and lively white wine with a lot of citrus and herbal aromas and flavors. Sauvignon Blanc wines have dominant citrus flavors—creating the effect of a squeezed lemon on smoked salmon. It pairs perfectly with seafood dishes because it highlights the flavors of the fish. Theorem will be releasing a Sauvignon Blanc in 2019!
Wine Pairings with Meat Dishes
Brunch dishes featuring red meat pair well with earthy wines like Cabernet Franc. Cabernet Franc is a medium-body wine that is predominantly aged in neutral barrels and has red fruit, earthy, and black fruit flavors. Medium-bodied wine pairs perfectly with rich, savory, and smoky flavors of bacon or brisket. Theorem will soon be releasing our very own Merlot that will pair beautifully with brunch meat plates!
